    As good as any

I have used both Wolf match ammo and other more expensive brands of 22LR match ammo. I find that the Wolf is as accurate as the others in my small bore silhouette rifle. I recommend this 22LR ammo.

    Very Good Stuff

Very consistent velocity. Never a failure to fire. Great value for accuracy guys. Buy as much as you can get. Its slippery stuff, but its worth it.

    No Problems

Good ammo. Put it threw a 715T .22 Mossberg, no problems. A little oiley/slimey but otherwise good.

    Excellent choice

No FTF or FTE from 4 boxes. 1/2 inch holes at 50, a bit over 3/4" at 100 with my low budget rig.

    Best bang for the buck

Posted by Alan on 26th Jul 2013

I've tried several low- to mid-range priced target loads for local smallbore competition and this is what my Kimber M82G likes. One hole 5 shot groups at 50 yards and MOA at 100 yards. The lube is normal for non-low-end target ammo and is there to prevent leading in target rifles. It will run fine in most semi-autos, unless the weather is pretty cold. Then it can build up where it shouldn't. Regarding California ranges: In some parts of California steel core and steel jacketed ammo are a concern because of the fire danger posed by sparking. Some ranges, like the one mentioned disallow all Wolf ammo because some calibers Wolf sells, manufactured in some locations (mostly ex-eastern bloc), have steel cores. Certainly not all California ranges have such a rule, neither of mine do. Wolf Match Target and Match Extra .22 LR are manufactured in Germany at the SK factory and are solid lead. (Wolf does not make any ammo themselves, they contract out all production and distribute all over the world.)

I told a friend I didn't like this ammunition because it took away my last excuse for poor shooting. I am totally sold on Wolf Match Ammo.

Wolf Match Target .22 LR Ammo

In my opinion, prior to rimfire ammunition becoming so hard to obtain, Wolf Match Target was the best available in its price range. It's not Midas Plus or Tenex but at less than half the price you can't expect it to be. It's a little greasy as well as most all European Rimfire Ammunition but you won't need to be concerned with leading.
