This ammo was great for target practice. The loads seem to me to be modestly loaded with moderate recoil in my revolver. Although the box says "not for use in revolvers or rifles" I called the technical support staff and asked about the SAAMI specs. Since the pressures were within specs for my model revolver (Ruger Super Redhawk) I went ahead and fired them. They were very consistent and I was able to get good accuracy out of them.

Because these rounds are made with a total metal jacket, they cycle perfectly in the Desert Eagle. However, the loads are a little light to be "optimized" for the Desert Eagle, and you'll still find yourself occasionally tapping the slide back into battery. If these were loaded just a little hotter, they'd be on par with Underwood and Buffalo Bore.
I ordered 200 rounds, went to the range, and then bought 400 more. I used to have a problem finding ammo that would cycle the DE but my search is now over.

I have found that my great .44 mag Desert Eagle can be rather picky on which brand of ammo is used. The Ventura Munitions ammo optimized for the Desert Eagle works without failing. And, it saves me some coinage.

Those of us with a DE know that finding the correctly loaded ammo to efficiently cycle this great pistol can be a major chore. This DE optimized ammo by Ventura Munitions works great, cycles great and is accurate while giving the wallet a break.
Good quality remans for your Desert Eagle. Finding the right load for your DE without spending for the premium ammo can be diffucult. Most of the other cheap stuff fails to cycle properly. This ammo cycles both of my DE's without fail, is accurate, and is easy on the wallet.
