  • Case Type: Processed Brass
  • Muzzle Velocity: 810mv-fps
  • Muzzle Energy: 291ft/lbs

Please note: Because our loadings use factory pulled & once fired components, some rounds may have slight cosmetic blemishes such as light scratches or small dents. These issues are cosmetic and will not affect firing or extraction in any way. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the ammunition please contact us.

A number of semi auto stock pistols may encounter feeding problems when firing Semi-Wad or Full Wad Cutter rounds. These rounds are designed for practice and for competition shooting. While most higher quality firearms will feed smoothly, some will require that the feed ramp may  need to be to be polished or, in some cases, relieved. Please be sure that your firearm is capable of feeding the SWC or WC bullets before ordering.

    inexpenive and accurate

Posted by Unknown on 19th Nov 2014

Being too lazy to reload anymore, I use this stuff for target shooting out of a couple of accurized guns. I'm no marksman, but it's far better in that department than the 230-grain surplus that competes at the price level. I've never had a misfire and I seem to put most of them in the black at 25 yards when I bother to pay attention. But if I don't pay attention, that's not the ammo's fault, is it?

Awesome ammo for range and competition

Posted by Gil Yardeny on 6th Nov 2014

I've used this ammo mostly for target practice on my desert eagle 1911. I only had one issue and that was because one round was bent and would not load. Other then that one issue, I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I've also used this ammo for a bowling pin competition which actually worked better then the personal defense rounds that others were using at triple the price. In fact, many of the competitors asked me where I got my ammo. I told them, of course!!! I use this ammo exclusively for my 1911 as this will not load or fire through my Kahr45. I don't mind because I love my 1911. Can't go wrong with this ammo and the price.

    Great ammo.

Have ordered these a few times. I was bummed that this batch came with small primers. Wish they would have mentioned that prior. Anyway, it still shoots great. I have 7 1911's and an FNX, not a single hiccup in any of them :-) ! Hard to find well made loads for a 45 with lead bullets. I will order again but I will ask for large primers from now on.

    Caution to Certain Guns!

    Posted by Hunter451 on 1st May 2014

The ammo looks awesome but user beware: Used in my Sig P220 after 100rds only 1 Jam, not bad but when used in Springfield XDs jammed shut and FTF problems in first 50 rds so use caution with the XDs they are known to be picky with ammo so I really don't blame the ammo. Will definitely buy more.

I was about to pass up this ammo when i saw it wasn't a fmj round ball, however i was pleasantly surprised. This ammo is really good for plinking/practice i had no misfires or any other types of malfunctions. Will definitely be buying more soon. I put about 160 through my SA 1911-A1 Loaded. great gun and great ammo for a great price. Can't beat that.

    More versatile than I expected

I bought this to shoot in a Colt 1911 Bullseye pistol because I couldn't find any 185 grain SWC. This ammo not only worked well in this pistol but also feeds well in my other quality 1911's. The moly coating is a little dirty, but is probably the reason the ammo works in my other pistols. Good product and good service from Ventura.
