      First order, bought 250 just to try out. Very consistent, no misfires, great product. Just one badly deformed case that was caught while loading a magazine. Using a Colt Gov 1911, so can't speak to other gun mfgs

      I spent this past weekend at the Whittington Center located in northern New Mexico. There were a number of national NRA events occurring there. I did have the time to send 250 rounds of lead downrange, specifically the Ventura Tactical 45 ACP 230gr TMJ Ammo that I had purchased earlier in the week. Delivery was fast and flawless, both on the range and through the post. Folks, this ammo is an incredible value! I put these bullets through the paces practicing for a 3-gun event coming up at the end of this month. 250 rounds blasted through the FNP .45 Tactical that I sport in less than two hours with no failures of any type. The accuracy rivaled the BlackHills and Federal Match ammo I normally run through this pistol. I cannot say too many good things about the performance, and at this price, it is truly a bargain. I recommend and endorse this Ventura product without hesitation!

      Did not have a chance to try any yet. Shipping was a little slow. Took well over a week to get my shipment. Overall, pretty good for the price. I will order again, hopefully it gets here a little quicker than the last one.

      This is certainly not the prettiest ammo in the world, but it shoots just fine. Tried it in my Officer size 1911 the other day with my son. After shooting steel plates for awhile, we decided to "aim small" at 20 feet, using a 4"x3" target with a 3/4" dot in the center. His first shot blew out the dot, so I told him to aim for the bullet hole. 5 shots made a 1.25" hole, plus one 1" right, and one 2" left. Can't do better than that with ammo costing twice as much.

      Ordered on Wednesday they shipped out within an hour and arrive that Saturday. Amazingly quick shipping/processing. Shot 500 down the range without a single malfunction, and solid grouping. Definitely recommended.
