    Product came packed loose in the box, fed ex shipping cost were excessive and took 6 days to arrive.

    Wonderful hard to find ammo

    I just purchased a .32-40 rifle. But I am not one of those re-loaders that are handy with manipulating brass to fit certain hard to find calibers. I am almost afraid to give kudos to VM for their prices for this ammo. Just buying brass for .32-40 can cost $2 a piece. To be able to buy ammo for the same price as plain brass is fantastic. I have not shot the whole box, but it loads and cycles easily. It is more than accurate enough for my purposes. I had somewhat similar results to Jr Rose (review before mine). It goes without saying that I will be buying more of this ammo. It almost makes me not want to reload .32-40!

    Great Ammo Great Price

    The first 3 shots of this ammo grouped at 1.5 in ...in the 10 ring. My old Winchester SS probably had not been shot in 80 yrs. Very consistent velocities ,and unlike some suppliers of obsolete ammo these have the correct head stamp..not resized 38-55's. Ventura will be my main source for this type of ammo from now on....I should mention I had my rifle checked out before firing ! Please do the same if you have an old rifle you want to fire

    Great source of heritage ammo

    Ventura Heritage is a great source of supplies for heritage shooting. I have an old Winchester Model 1894 I got from my Grandfather chambered in 32-40, a caliber hard to come by. He had come by it when he bought some mining property in WWII, and he had never fired it. Still it seemed in good shape, so after having the rifle examined by a gunsmith and pronounced safe, I ordered the shells from Ventura. It was a hoot to shoot that old rifle, and gave me and my s on a great afternoon. The shells are expensive so I can't say I'll do it often, but I will do it again and when I do I will use Ventura.
