Good Ammo, Price and Service
I use the Speer 40 Cal. for self protection. Its a solidly well made clean burning round. Ventura Munitions has it at a price that beats the competition.....

The Speer .40 L E box of 50 seems to be the same ammo as the .40 Personal Protection box of 20. Ventura Munitions price and shipping cost is very reasonable. Fast shipping. As long as they have my ammo in stock I will buy mine here.I Highly recommend Ventura Munitions for your ammo needs.

Not exactly a review of the ammunition
I shoot .40cal SW. I practice to be able to feel as comfortable as I can be if I have to fire my weapon in self defense. I'm not a competition shooter so, to me, a bullet is a bullet is a bullet. If I hit paper I'll probably hit a bad guy. This product fired clean, nothing wrong with it at all. This review is mainly about Ventura. I bought the ammo online through Ventura. Never heard of these guys before. I found them using an ammo search engine. Their website was easy to navigate, I purchased with no problem, they sent my items with speed and efficiency. It's a good company as far as I can see. I would recommend them to anybody.

One of the best for defensive rounds
I am adding to my stock of various calibers. This is not range ammo. This is to have in reserve for defensive rounds. I have 9mm, 38 spc, .40 and .45 in handgun ammo and always look for the Speer Gold Dot hollow point ammo in the 50 round box. Lighter bullet weight will get you faster velocity and sure expansion. The US Air Marshals use Speer Gold Dot in their duty weapons in .357 sig. You can't go wrong with this.

Gold Dots for Great Price
These 165gr. Gold Dots are my favorite load for my 40 cal. The At 70 cents a round for 50, you can not pass up this bargain....Federal's HST is also a great load but is usually more expensive and no better Imho...
