Fiocchi 9mm 92 grain copper expanding bullet ammo
Works well and is accurate in my S&W Shield 9 and Kahr CW9.
The Expansion Mono-Block (EMB) bullet is a homogenous piece of a copper and bronze alloy that prevents the jacketed and core from separating. During the swaging process, the EMB bullet is shaped in a way so that is can reach a desired level of expansion and penetration upon contact. Upon penetration, the expansion part of the bullet is roughly twice the diameter of the cartridge.

Ammunition was shot from Kimber Aegis with 3" barrel PROS: - This ammunition has very mild recoil, almost nonexistent is the relatively heavy gun. This adds to the precision of the follow-up shot. - Ammunition is precise. - Relatively cheap for defense ammo CONS: - With 14 pound spring in Aegis I can see copper particles in the chamber after 25 shots. I observed the same with other pure copper bullets. This means that after long shooting session case extraction might become an issue (observed this on another gun) - Bullets are covered with dark residue - probably copper oxide. Would suggest to store them in the humidity controlled storage.
