Armscor 22lr High Velocity 36gr HP Ammo - 50 Rounds

Great product, wished ammo prices would go down during my lifetime. Thank you Ventura for making it affordable!

For years I always used 40gr 22LR and didn't even think about lighter bullets. My thinking was that this little caliber needed to throw around as much weight as it could since it was starting off light anyway. I knew which brand of 40gr worked best in each of my three rifles but I didn't think to try lighter bullets. Last winter my friend gave me a box of Aguila 38gr copper coated hollow points and they shot as well out of all three rifles as any of the "best" ammos I had been using. So I purchased these 36gr Armscor bullets to push the experiment a little further. Pretty much the same result as with the Aguila's except for my CZ 452. That rifle loves these bullets. At 50 yds off the bench my son and I were producing consistent groups half the size we've achieved with any other ammo. If it hadn't happened to me I would have remained ever skeptical. Like I said, it wasn't magic in all my guns but, wow, the CZ is a different firearm with these rounds. Apart from that the rounds seem consistent, not particularly dirty and no flyers or FTFs. Price was right for these crazy times.

I am pleased with this ammo and the customer service from Ventura Munitions is great. When I need anything in the future will look here first.

Decent ammo for the sale price. Accuracy seems average. Judging by the sound, some rounds are are loaded more lightly than others so I'd say the FPS is very inconsistent. Fairly clean, functioned well in 3 different tube fed rifles.

At little kick for my S&W MP15-22. Never got any misfire. Great ammo at great price.
