    Great HV .22LR Ammo

Posted by Jim on 23rd May 2015

The 1911 semi autos need the high velocity ammo to cycle correctly. This does the job. Although there are some rounds with loose bullets, that is not atypical for this type of ammo (at this price). No FTF's or FTE's with my GSG 1911. There is some grease on the casings but it seems almost everything coming out of the Philippines (RIA 1911's) has this coating. I spent some time wiping it off a few hundred rounds, then realized it is pretty much a waste of time. This stuff goes bang when you pull the trigger at a reasonable price. Nuff said!

i have a brand new colt m4 22lr and went to the range for the first time. i shot 100rounds of this armscor ammo with ZERO failures. stratigic shooting and rapid fire. the ammo had a little oil or grease on it which worried at first but after shooting it i am very glad i bought ten boxes. will most likely be buying more.

    Armscore 36gr. 22lr

Great stuff! I have not had a problem of any kind with all my collectible .22s, from Remington model 6 to Mossberg 151K. I rushed to buy more from Ventura. Highly recommended ammo and excellent vendor.

    Great, cheap ammo

Posted by Stu on 19th May 2015

I've fired hundreds of these through my Ruger bolt action. My nephew has fired them out of his Mossberg semi auto, and my brother in law through his old semi auto Marlin 22. No problems with this ammo. It does seem to have a thin layer of wax or something covering the bullet, but it doesn't seem to mess anything up too much. The main reason to buy this ammo is it works and it's cheap. Those are the two main things you're looking for when you go plinking.

Good ammo from a great company. I always get great service when I buy from Ventura.

Armscor .22 HV/ Failure to about everything

Posted by Scott on 18th May 2015

I bought 500 rounds to try Armscor out and also because it was available at a pretty good price. Venture shipped in a timely manner and I have no complaints with their service. That's the only reason I give it 2 stars instead of one. After running about 300 rounds thru a GSG522 I was able to get only one magazine to cycle completely without numerous failure to fire, failures to feed, or failures to eject. It is really dirty ammo and one round even blew the rim off the cartridge when fired.

    Fired in my finicky Walther

50 rounds and not a problem...was getting ready to get rid of the gun verses buying target ammo. It dislikes any .22 ammo that does not come with papers....until now.

    .22lr & i needed some

Posted by Dan on 14th May 2015

It arrived very fast & packaged Nicely ., Thank You! As other reviews mentioned mine came with a "waxy" coating , but fired in my model60 just fine , every shot went bang., my Dads ( older ) model 60 had a couple cycling issues (2) seemed fine for plinking ( that's what we were doing) Id buy again , if I can't find USA ammo :)
